Why was Rainbow Shopping Network created?

Why would a company not be featured on Rainbow Shopping Network?
We are adding new merchants to our site on a daily basis. However, our site is not all-encompassing, so it does not feature every single business out there. There are a number of reasons why a company might not be featured on our site.
- The business does not have an online store. All of the merchants featured in our marketplace must have an online store where shoppers can make purchases on the Internet.
- The store has not yet been qualified by our staff. Any online merchant that is labeled as gay-owned or gay-friendly is prescreened by a Rainbow Shopping Network staffer. - The business is openly opposed to GLBT equality. In some cases, businesses may not be featured on the site given their lack of support for the queer community.
- For whatever reason, a merchant is not willing to be featured on our site. In some cases, stores choose not to be featured on our site. Whatever the reason, we respect this decision.
- The store is not a good fit for Rainbow Shopping Network. This online marketplace was created for the gay community and its supporters. In certain cases, we may choose not to include a merchant if we believe it is not in the best interest of our shoppers.
