Our Philanthropy
Here at Rainbow Shopping Network, we are dedicated to supporting the GLBT community. That’s why we make it a priority to give back. Each quarter, 10% of our site’s revenue is donated to a worthy non-profit organization that advances GLBT issues and concerns. We donate to a different GLBT non-profit organization each quarter.
Our Beneficiary This Quarter
At present and until the end of 2007, we’re donating to PFLAG—Parents, Families & Friends of Lesbians & Gays.
Based in Washington, D.C., PFLAG is a national support, education and advocacy organization for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered (GLBT) people as well as their families, friends and allies. With 200,000 members and supporters, and local affiliates in more than 500 communities across the U.S. and abroad, PFLAG is the largest grassroots-based family organization of its kind. PFLAG is a well-respected, credible organization with a proven track record of doing good for the GLBT community.
How Donations Are Calculated
It's simple. 10% of our site's net revenue will be donated to organizations that work to promote equality and improve the lives of the GLBT community. Donations will be calculated after the close of each quarter. Quarters are based on a regular calendar year, and our philanthropy schedule breaks down as follows:
Quarter 1: January, February and March (Donations calculated in April)
Quarter 2: April, May and June (Donations calculated in July)
Quarter 3: July, August and September (Donations calculated in October)
Quarter 4: October, November and December (Donations calculated in January)
